11. Her Desire for Intimacy May Change, but It Does Not Necessarily Disappear
One common assumption is that a woman who lives without a man for years eventually stops wanting physical intimacy, affection, or romantic connection.
That is not true for everyone.
Human desire varies widely. Some women experience a strong desire for romantic or sexual intimacy throughout their lives. Others experience it less frequently, and some feel little or no interest in sexual relationships.
These differences can reflect personal preference, health, hormonal changes, medication effects, emotional experiences, cultural background, and many other factors.
A period without a romantic partner does not automatically eliminate desire.
Some women find that their priorities change. They may become more interested in emotional compatibility than physical
attraction alone. Others may discover that they enjoy their independence and prefer to seek intimacy only when a relationship feels genuinely right.
Some may miss affection or sexual connection but decide that being single is preferable to entering a relationship that does not meet their needs.
