He slept with a 60-year-old woman to save his dying mother. What he discovers later changes him…1

She had come to their home hoping to become part of their family.

Instead, she felt as though she had walked into a room where everyone was waiting to judge her.

Amina struggled to stand.

“Raquel, please don’t listen to them.”

Raquel tried to smile, but her lips trembled.

“Thank you for inviting me into your home, Amina.”

“Please stay,” Amina begged.

Raquel shook her head.

“I think I should leave.”

Raúl reached for her hand.

“Please. Don’t go like this.”

She gently pulled away.

“Not here, Raúl.”

She walked out of the house with her head held high, refusing to let anyone see her break down.

But as soon as she reached the car, the tears came.

Raúl followed her.

“Raquel, wait!”

She got inside.

He reached the door just as the driver began to move.

“Please, let me explain!”

Raquel looked at him through the open window.
