He had been under that hospital since the November of 2024 and he had been on the fourth floor twice.
And in the February he asked to be moved to Dunmow ward, which is where I work, and he asked specifically.
He knew I was back. He knew where I worked. He had known since about the August of 2024 because Barrowmere is that size and because his sister Nancy had told him.
And when he could not do anything else, he got himself onto the right ward.
That is the trap. That is what Gethin Floyd meant on my doorstep and he said it with great affection and I did not hear it that way at all on the day.
